St Oswald’s Church Mission is to reach out to the Community and beyond with the Christian Gospel, witnessing to God's love through word and action, from an accessible and welcoming centre for prayer, worship, teaching and fellowship.

From January to the end of March our 10am services will be in the church hall as the church's heating system cannot properly heat the building.

The general monthly pattern of services shown on the timetable below aims to fulfil, in part, our mission purpose.

As presented on our homepage we're following the Pilgrim Course this Lent. This Programme Card details the services, themes and readings enabling us to look in advance at the Bible passages which we will be reading and studying each week in the services.

Easter is approaching and our special services for the run up to Easter Sunday are...
Sunday 14th April - Palm Sunday 10am Holy Communion
Thursday 18th April - Maundy Thursday Holy Communion
Friday 19th April - Good Friday - An Hour at the Cross
Sunday 21st April - Easter Sunday - Holy Communion

Children's groups take place during the 10.00am service where Pebbles offers activities for under 5s, and Explorers for 6-11s.

In addition to Sunday services, Holy Communion is celebrated at 10.00am each Wednesday.

Together in Prayer - an opportunity for us all to gather before God to prayerfully seek His will for us and His church here in Fulford.

Prayer and Thanksgiving - following in the footsteps of Jesus where we make time to come before the Father in prayer recalling with thanksgiving all that He is, what He has done for us through Jesus, and all He is doing in us through His Holy Spirit.

Refresh - space to explore faith. Do join us for an hour of creative prayer, music and discussion.

Evensong: a traditional choral service, with choir

A small robed choir leads the sung worship at the 6.30pm Evensong services.
A group of all-age singers including choir members leads the worship at the 10.00am service, under the leadership of Tony Myers. New instrumentalists and singers are always most welcome! For more information contact Tony Myers at
